Why buyers choose the HMX 114
The HEMAKS HMX 114 joins filament yarns with an air jet so the plies do not slip apart, giving a consistent intermingled (interlaced) yarn. The same machine can also do plain assembly winding and intermingling with elastane.
Knot frequency and air pressure are adjustable, and each position has its own inverter, AC motor, yarn break sensor and cutter. With up to 1,020 m/min mechanical speed and 5 to 60 positions it suits both small and large mills.

What is the difference between intermingling and twisting?
Intermingling locks the filaments together with air-jet knots and is much faster; twisting gives real turns per metre. Many customers intermingle for weaving and knitting and twist only when the end product needs it.
