Why buyers choose the HMX 126

The HEMAKS HMX 126 wrap reel winds a hank of exact length so you can weigh it and calculate the yarn count in denier, Ne or Nm. It is used in quality control laboratories and on the production floor.

The digital counter accepts up to 9,999 turns, and a precise start/stop mechanism makes sure each sample has the same length. Up to 5 cones can be reeled at a time. Use our free yarn count converter to switch between systems.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of a wrap reel?

The price depends on the reel circumference and options. Send us your yarn type, count and the production you need on WhatsApp or by e-mail, and we will prepare a quotation for your exact configuration.

How do I calculate yarn count with a wrap reel?

Reel a known length (e.g. 100 turns on a 1 m reel = 100 m), weigh the hank in grams, then denier = grams × 9,000 ÷ metres. Our yarn count converter turns the result into Ne, Nm or tex.

Which reel size should I choose?

1 m is standard for metric counts; 54″ (1.5 yd) and 36″ reels are used for English counts such as Ne. Tell us your test standard and we will advise.

Can you deliver to Pakistan, Bangladesh, India or Egypt?

Yes. HEMAKS machines are manufactured in Gaziantep, Turkey and shipped by sea or road. We can advise on installation and start-up; contact us for shipping options to your country.
